WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — As the trade battle escalates between the United States and China, consumers are expected to face the burden of higher prices.
Most everything from make up to clothing to furniture is expected to be affected with higher prices.

"More often than not people are bringing it to our attention, asking about it,” says Michael Kohn, sales manager at Rosner’s Appliances.
Kohn says the business is now stocking up on washing machines and refrigerators.
“We're basically stocking up as much as we can at current prices or lower prices to keep prices down,” Kohn said.
A recent study of the effects of the tariff struggle by Trade Partnership Worldwide, estimated the cost to a family of four at $767 annually.
