West Palm Beach police said Thursday afternoon there was no foul play in connection with an early-morning death.
West Palm Detective Lori Colombino said shortly after 5 a.m. officers were dispatched to assist medical personnel, who were helping an injured man near a Sunoco gas station along the 4900 block of Broadway.
When police arrived in the area, officers found the man, identified as Paris Leon Daniels, 49, with a small puncture wound to the head. Daniels was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said it is unknown what caused the puncture wound.
Colombino said Thursday afternoon that the autopsy revealed there was no foul play.
