Three months before her third trial, Dalia Dippolito's attorneys are trying to fight a gag order requested by the state.
An emergency motion was filed Tuesday by Dippolito's attorneys asking for $5,000 to get expedited transcripts of the hearing when the gag order was discussed.
The defense team plans to use the transcripts to file an appeal.
Dippolito was declared indigent by the court in her previous trials.
Dippolito’s case is scheduled to go to a third trial beginning June 2. Boynton Beach police accused Dippolito of hiring a hit man to kill her then husband in 2009.
