PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- On Friday a judge denied the State of Florida's motion to remove Dahlia Dippolito's attorney, Brian Claypool, from her case.

The judge did approve the State's motion for a protective order (commonly known as a "gag order").

The protective order prohibits Dippolito's legal team from making any extrajudicial statements about the case.

The third murder-for-hire trial for Dahlia Dippolito is set to begin on June 2, 2017.
