A 21-year-old man was arrested Sunday after a woman was held at knifepoint at a West Palm Beach ATM.
Shortly after 10 a.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at the Wells Fargo ATM located at 802 Southern Blvd.
The victim, over the age of 65-years-old, told police she was at the ATM when a man approached her from behind and asked for money.
She told him she didn't have any, but the man, police later identified as Franklin Markese Killins, pulled out a 10-inch knife from his waistband.
Police said the Killins placed the knife on the victim's side and demanded she give him money from the ATM.
Officers said she began to hit various buttons on the ATM, causing the machine to take the debit card.
Investigators said Killins fled the scene but he was later located, confessed to the holdup and taken to the Palm Beach County Jail.
He faces charges of robbery with a weapon and aggravated battery of a person 65 years or older.
Bond was set at $15,000 after a court hearing Monday morning.
