WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The city of West Palm Beach is suspending all existing permits for events occurring through January 24, 2021.
The city announced the move on Monday, January 11, 2021, stating it was "due to a recent increase in the weekly COVID-19 positivity average, an anticipated post-holiday surge, and a slower than expected rollout of COVID-19 vaccine."
The suspension of event permits includes all events produced by the city, such as the GreenMarket, and any private or public property event permit issued or pending.
The GreenMarket began in 1995 and moved to its current location along the West Palm Beach waterfront in 2010.
