Thanksgiving week is here.
You can navigate the lead up to Thursday so you are not stress-eating, thanks to info from Google. Here’s how to do it.
“Pumpkin spice is our featured flavor this month and it’s going like crazy everyone is getting it so they can have it (after) dinner Thursday,” Callie Moore from Nothing Bundt Cakes in Royal Palm Beach said.
According to Google, the busiest time to hit the bakery this week: just after noon Wednesday. Try going in the morning instead
The liquor store.
“Vodka, rum, tequila. The major seller is wine,” said Ashok Patel from Liquor, Beer, Wine in Wellington.
Google says the busiest time at liquor stores will be Wednesday, right around dinner time. Try around closing Wednesday instead.
“I already know there’s going to be a lot of traffic but I don’t feel that way because I feel like the people are already prepared(and many have already left,” said Josiah Bean, who’s driving to Houston Wednesday afternoon.
Google says if you’re hitting the road Wednesday, don’t wait until nightfall. That’s the worst time to go. Either leave mid-morning or mid-afternoon.
And if you’re staying home, do as Jamie Harris does.
“Spread the love, say what we’re thankful for and fill our refrigerators up,” he said.
The time to avoid at the grocery store, according to Google, is Wednesday night around dinner time when all the last minute shoppers are there.
