RIVIERA BEACH, Fla.-- Deputies have been checking any bags going in or out of the Palm Beach County Election facility where a recount is taking place.
The deputies are walking around the facility and checking bags going in and out at the door for ballots.
Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher says the recount in the Senate race is nearly done and despite some allegations of fraud - the process is going well.
"Obviously, you've been here the building is very secure we have a lot of deputies and they're making sure we have not only security but enforcement in case we need it and it went very well this morning," Bucher said.
Both the Attorney General and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement put out a statement saying they are actively engaged in monitoring for criminal activity during the recounts.
