The West Palm Beach Police Department is investigating a double shooting Monday night that resulted in one person dead and another injured.
The shooting occurred at about 11 p.m. in the 600 block of 9th St. between Rosemary and Sapodilla avenues.
When police arrived, they found two men shot with one victim dead at the scene. The deceased victim was identified as 44-year-old Samuel Brown.
Police said the other man was transported to a local hospital and is recovering.
