Extra security Monday at Palm Beach Central High School after threat last week

WELLINGTON, Fla. - Palm Beach Central High School will have more security on campus Monday morning after a threat was found written on campus last week.

The Palm Beach County School District said they are taking the threat very seriously after a student reported finding a shooting threat written in a school bathroom.

The Palm Beach Central High School principal notified parents about the threat in a robocall. He said while they do not believe the threat is credible, they will have increase security on campus Monday just in case.

Officials said the person who made the threat could face criminal charges on top of disciplinary action.
