WELLINGTON, Fla. — A child is hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Wellington, according to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The incident happened at 7 p.m. near the 11000 block of Strubridge Lane.
Firefighters reported that the male child was laying in the road upon their arrival.
The patient was transported to a local area trauma hospital by Trauma Hawk.
