PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Things are back up and running at the Palm Beach County Tax Collector's Office after a system outage affected all transactions on Wednesday.
For several hours, customers were only able to pay with cash or checks for transactions. That included tax payments and motor vehicle transactions like driver license services, registration renewals, and title work.
But around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, the agency said the problem had been fixed, and normal operations have resumed.
Last month, a similar system outage affected services in the City of Riviera Beach.
