RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. — A Riviera Beach man just turned a $5 scratch-off ticket into $500,000!

The Florida Lottery announced Tuesday that Deandre Brown, 28, of Riviera Beach, claimed a top prize from the $500,000 CROSSWORD EXTRA PLAY scratch-off game.
Officials said Brown purchased his winning ticket from Stop Shop Save & Go store, located at 3343 Broadway Ave. in Riviera Beach.
The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-4.06, however the odds of winning $500,000 are one-in-2,520,000.
