A pedestrian was transported to a hospital by helicopter Wednesday morning after they were hit by a vehicle on State Road 7 near a Home Depot in suburban West Palm Beach.
Palm Beach Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto said a man was struck at 7:45 a.m. in the 220 block of South State Road 7.

The victim was lying on the ground when crew arrived at the scene.
The condition of the man is unknown.
