PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Dressed in capes and costumes, crime fighting superheros showed off their dance moves on Friday morning.

Palm Beach County students with special needs put on their best disguises for a Superhero Ball at the West Boynton Recreation Center.

Students in the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Unit from Park Vista High School, John I. Leonard High School, Lake Worth High School, and Santaluces High School sang, danced, and enjoyed themselves at the event.

Many of these students are on the autism spectrum, while others have Down syndrome and other special needs.

The event was organized by the Park Vista Student Government and Venom Vision, a student group that promotes inclusion, acceptance, and anti-bullying.
