PALM SPRINGS, Fla. — There was a heavy police presence and crime scene tape posted Tuesday outside of a McDonald's restaurant in Palm Springs.

Police said they were called to the restaurant, located at 3015 Forest Hill Blvd., just after 12:30 p.m.

Officers said a 41-year-old man was taken to the hospital after an altercation in the parking lot.

The condition of the victim is unclear.

Palm Springs police said the attacker was last seen driving away on Forest Hill Boulevard.

Investigators ask the public to call them if they have any information about the altercation.
