Students at Acreage Pines Elementary were evacuated Friday morning after reports of smoke inside the building.

Chopper 5 flew over the school, located at 14200 Orange Blvd. in Loxahatchee, just before 8 a.m. and multiple rescue vehicles were at the scene.

An aerial view showed students outside the school while crews investigated.

At 8:39 a.m., the Palm Beach County School District said the smell of smoke was from an air vent, and no fire was found.

Classes have resumed.
