LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies are for a camper stolen from a Walmart parking lot in Lake Worth.

The victim is Twan Allen, a single mom, and a student at Keiser University. Allen says she had permission from Walmart management to temporarily park her camper in their parking lot.

According to her, it had been there for six days before the 30-foot camper was stolen. Despite the crime, she’s trying to stay positive.

“I’m not even mad at the person. I’m just hoping they needed it. They went about it the wrong way, but it’s helping somebody I guess,” says Allen.

Keiser University Staff and community partners heard of Allen’s story and are working with her to get temporary housing and clothing while deputies continue to investigate.

A GoFundMe account has been created to help Twan Allen.
