The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday morning a SWAT situation in Lake Worth has ended peacefully with two men being taken into custody.
Deputies said the incident started as a domestic disturbance earlier in the night on 17th Avenue near Dixie Highway in Lake Worth.
At 5:15 a.m., several SWAT units were at a house, including about 20 PBSO deputies.
The two men were taken into custody at about 6:30 a.m.
PBSO said one of the men will be charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The other man will not face charges, said PBSO.
One of the men in custody has been identified as John Horton.
