PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The headmaster of a Palm Beach County school, accused of sexually assaulting a minor, appeared in court Monday morning.

A judge set bond at $120,000 for 53-year-old Randy Konsker, the headmaster of Matlock Academy in West Palm Beach.

Konsker is facing 11 counts of sexual assault on a victim 16 or 17 years old, and two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim age 12 to 16.

Detectives said a former student, who's now 19 years old, reached out to them claiming she had a sexual relationship with Konsker when she was 15 years old.

On Monday, a judge said if Konsker posts bond, he can't have any contact with the alleged victim or her family, and can't have any contact with minors other than his two sons, who are teenagers. He'll also be on house arrest if he posts bond.

Konsker owns Matlock Academy, a private college preparatory school. His attorney said Konsker wants to continue running the school administratively from home while on house arrest. A judge approved that request.

The mother of the alleged victim told WPTV after Monday's hearing she's disappointed that Konsker can still run the school.

Detectives believe there may be more victims.
