Rescue crews battled a house fire Monday morning near Meadowbrook Drive and Drexel Road just east of Florida's Turnpike.
At 5:58 a.m., Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews responded to reports of a fire in the 1200 block of Meadowbrook Dr.
Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto said first-arriving crews reported heavy smoke and flames from the side of a home.
Firefighters entered the home and quickly located the fire in a back bedroom, extinguishing it.
There were no injuries reported and the Red Cross was not required for assistance.
The cause is under investigation, said Borroto.
