PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- A Belle Glade woman died in a crash on Highway 27 Wednesday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Sana H. Mohamad was driving northbound on U.S. 27 at 10:30 a.m. and attempted to change lanes.
When doing so, the front of Mohamad's 2014 Mazda struck the rear of a trailer being pulled by a 2019 Mack truck.
Both vehicles came to final rest in the outside lane.
Mohamad died at the scene.
According to FHP, she was not wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
