PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a Wellington man was arrested after a fight and stabbing Sunday evening outside Foster’s Too Lounge near West Palm Beach.
PBSO said the victim and suspect, identified as George Joseph Peterson, 36, got into a verbal altercation, which later resulted in the stabbing.
Investigators said Peterson fled the scene when deputies arrived, but he was located a short distance away. Both the victim and Peterson suffered injuries described as not life threatening.
Peterson was arrested and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.
He faces a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
