A group of Boca Raton students are being recognized for their efforts in keeping our beautiful piece of paradise clean.

Boca Raton’s Community Advisory Panel Youth Subcommittee won the 2019 Municipal Youth Council Community Service Contest, sponsored by the Florida League of Cities.
As part of the subcommittee's LEAD Green Community Service project, the group planted trees, rehabilitated nature trails, and cleaned up beaches.
The students collected more than 200 pounds of trash during more than 30 beach cleanups.
