WASHINGTON — Lois Frankel on Tuesday won the Democratic nomination for U.S. House in Florida's 23rd Congressional District.
With 95% of precincts reporting, Frankel held a big lead over challengers Victoria Doyle and Mark Piper, receiving 75% of the vote.

Frankel, 78, has been a member of Congress since 2013.
She will take on GOP primary winner Deborah Adeimy, who soundly defeated Paola Branda, in the November general election.
