WPTV reporter Victor Jorges spoke with Frank King who is a lifelong resident of Boynton Beach. He lives in the Sky Ranch Estates and has been dealing with a flooding issue outside his home for over 30 years.
King said when he addresses the city with the issue, they tell him it is a county-owned road. However, the county told King that this is a city problem.

"It floods so badly that where northbound traffic is in the southbound lane and the southbound lane drives on the curb," King said. "It's dangerous for one, and two we can't put our garbage out on those days because you end up just picking up the garbage."
Even though the city says it's a county-owned road, the city is charging King a stormwater fee.
"(The city) is taking my money, but they're doing nothing for me," King said.
October is National Disability Employment Month. WPTV Anchor Mike Trim spoke with Jeff Hancock at employU about what the company offers for those who are disabled and developmentally challenged.

Hancock is currently working with upwards of 200 disabled residents around the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast to help them get a job.
Code Pro of the Palm Beaches is one company that has reaped the benefits of employU. They have four employees who were found through employU, and David Allen with Code Pro says this is an untapped resource for the community.
Terri Pendergast lives in Boynton Beach and came to the Let's Hear It to meet our news team. She just wanted to express her thanks to WPTV for their efforts in the community and meet those she sees on television each day!

Local artist and teaching artist Steve Brouse will be holding an exhibition at the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center in November.
Brouse has been doing shows and classes for 20 years, and for the first time, he will be teaching a class at the center. The class will be for kids to build and paint their own robot! More information can be found by contacting the center.

WPTV has done extensive reporting on the My Safe Florida Home Program, and Boynton Beach resident Sandy expressed her troubles to reporter Ange Toussaint about getting help fixing her roof through the program for the past three years.
