The St. Lucie County Clerk's Office said in an email Aug. 8 there is a total of $39,850 waiting to be claimed by residents and companies in St. Lucie County’s courts.
The extensive list includes restitution payments and bonds, with some individual amounts upwards of $3,750.
If you believe you may be among the 150 individuals or businesses who have unclaimed funds, you may search the list at www.stlucieclerk.com/unclaimed.
Instructions on how to claim the funds are available on the website. The deadline to collect the funds is 4 p.m. Aug. 31, 2018.
