TROPICS: NHC tracking tropical wave with 30% chance of development in Atlantic

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is monitoring a tropical wave that will move off the African coast this weekend. It currently has a 30% chance of development in the next week.

Early models show the storm will develop and strengthen as it moves across the Atlantic. However, it's too early to tell where the system will go.
