Mostly dry Mothers Day weekend

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A nice Mothers Day weekend is on tap for us as high pressure dominates keeping rain and storms chances low.

There might be a few passing showers overnight and early Sunday morning before they move west and dissipate by mid morning.

Easterly winds will keep any daytime showers & storms way out west but those east winds will keep the rip current risk high so only swim at guarded beaches.

Rain chances increase Monday afternoon as we kick into the start of rainy season.

A southwest flow will develop by midweek ushering in hotter temperatures and a better chance of afternoon & evening storms.
