Hurricane Matthew won’t just be impacting the coast. Parts miles inland are prepping for the storm, as well.
People like James Moran in Wellington has his house all boarded. So, he is helping his dad prepare his home for the storm. Moran and his family have been working all Wednesday and even a pair of ripped shorts won’t stop them until they secure the home.
The hope for Moran is the storm won’t be that bad, but he’s preparing for anything Mathew will throw his way.
“I think it’s getting a little hairy. I think it’s going to be high tropical storm-force winds, maybe get in the 80, 90 mile an hour range. We made it through Wilma and hopefully you know, we know we can make it through that. Hopefully, it’s not more intense than that,” said James Moran.
