A troubled University of South Florida football player has been arrested for a second time on sexual battery and false imprisonment charges.

LaDarrius Jackson, 22, turned himself into the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies at the Orient Road jail on Wednesday where he was booked on a $9,500 bond. Shortly after 1:50 p.m., Jackson bonded out of jail.

Investigators say Jackson assaulted a woman on March 27 in Hillsborough County.

According to detectives, Jackson was at the victim’s home and asked her multiple times to shower with him. After repeated denials, the victim said Jackson blocked the door to prevent her from leaving.

The victim said he forcefully removed her clothing and sexually assaulted her.

Detectives said Jackson then forced the victim drive to a nearby pharmacy for emergency contraceptive and made her take it in front of him.

This is the second sexual assault he’s accused of this month.

On May 1, Jackson was charged for false imprisonment and sexual battery charges.

USF campus police said the incident occurred at a residential building on campus.

They said the victim and Jackson were acquaintances.

The victim immediately reported what happened to university housing staff who then contacted police.

According to the arrest report, the victim told police Jackson forced her into a room and tried forcing her to perform a sexual act.

Jackson has been suspended from the USF football team.
