LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — A 64-year-old woman was killed after she was struck by a car while attempting to cross the crosswalk in Lake Worth Beach Saturday.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, the woman was identified as Karen Petrillo of Lake Worth Beach.
Investigators said Petrillo began walking in the crosswalk when the light turned green on Lucerne Avenue at the intersection of Dixie Highway.
The driver remained on the scene and will not face any charges.
