Matt is a producer with WPTV, using his knowledge of local and world-events to craft informational and captivating newscasts. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia (MIZ-ZOU) with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in political science.
Before joining WPTV, Matt worked in Huntsville, Alabama and Columbia, Missouri as an on-air reporter before deciding to focus on producing. He has covered a wide-range of topics, including the criminal trial of a man accused of killing a Huntsville Police Officer, legalization of medical marijuana and sexual assaults on college campuses.
Matt was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He enjoys watching his Blues and Cardinals, listening to 90's alternative music (Oasis, the Verve, Radiohead) and spending time with his cat, Danny.
