MADRID, Spain — A video of an adorable police dog in Spain is melting hearts all over the world.

The video uploaded by the Municipal Police of Madrid shows an officer acting like he is in distress, falling to the ground.

The dog named "Poncho" sprints into action and begins jumping up and down in an effort to "revive" the officer.

"Poncho" appears to be using his little paws like hands to provide compressions in an effort to resuscitate the officer.

This post on Facebook called Poncho's performance "heroic" and praised that he did not hesitate for a moment in "saving the life" of the agent.

The department ended the post with a quote that said, “A dog is the only being in the world that will love you more than you love yourself."
