(KSHB/WDAF/CNN) - A Missouri teen was among three juveniles facing serious charges after police say he pointed a gun at another teen.
A 17-year-old is charged with first-degree robbery and assault on a 13-year old boy.
Police in Independence, Mo., say a video of the incident posted on social media led to the arrests.
Derrin Weddle says he feared for his life as the 17-year-old put a gun to his head. One of the other boys arrested was seen on the video punching Weddle in the face.
"I didn't know if the gun was real or not. all that was going through my mind is that if I got shot what would my brother feel or what would my mom feel?" said Derrin.
"The social media stuff is really bad ... but I do feel like since it's got out so much that it will raise some awareness to other kids that it's not OK,” said Derrin's mother Emily Bridges.
