Torrential rains have set off devastating floods and landslides in Nepal.

Rivers of water and landslides have cut off most of the country from the capital of Katmandu.

The main highway has been damaged, blocked or swept away in a number of places.

Hundreds of vehicles are stranded and some people are trying to cross blocked areas on foot.

At least 131 people have been killed since Nepal's monsoon season began last month.

At least 48 others are missing.
