A video posted to LiveLeak shows a Detroit McDonald's employee tricking a homeless man and throwing water on him.
With over 128,000 views, the video from Nov. 6 shows the employee telling the man to come here so he can give him a sandwich.
The employee then holds the sandwich out the window saying he is going to help him. When the homeless man gets close, the employee throws water on him, prompting the homeless man to ask, "why you do that?"
People in the car videotaping laugh as the employee throws water on the man.
In a statement to Scripps station WXYZ in Detroit, the owner said:
"I am very disappointed by the inappropriate behavior of this employee. This type of behavior is not tolerated in my organization. I expect my employees to treat everyone with dignity and respect, as this was unacceptable. I am taking appropriate action with respect to this individual."
