The Martin County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) responded to the scene of a drowning at a family home in Hobe Sound.
Sheriff John Budensiek says they received a 911 call around 7:15 p.m. Friday night, and responded to a home on SE Mars Street.
2-year-old dead after drowning at Hobe Sound home
A 2-year-old girl was transported to Cleveland Clinic South and pronounced dead at the hospital.
Budensiek says there were four adults and three children in the home, including the 2-year-old.
The sheriff's office says it is conducting a full investigation.
