SARASOTA, Fla. — (NBC/WFTS) - Police in Sarasota are looking for the driver of a vehicle that collided with another driver Thursday, sending him flipping multiple times through the air.

The wreck happened at about 7:45 a.m. on US 41 at 14th St. West.

Video from a Sarasota hotel shows a Kia Sedona van turning into on-coming traffic and clipping a car that swerved to avoid it.

Much of the crash occurred out of the camera's view.

The van then drives away after a few seconds and merges back into traffic

The 19-year-old driver of the Audi, Jackson Maxwell Kelley, was critically injured.

No one at the hotel was hurt.
