(WBBH/NBC) An alligator was caught on camera climbing a fence at a Fort Myers golf course.
The video was recorded Wednesday at the Hideaway Country Club.
This gator is estimated to be about 8 feet long.
The video shows the reptile climb over the chain linked fence and go right through the barbed wire at the top.
Residents who live near the golf course say they are terrified after seeing the video, including one dog owner.
"I'm afraid, they're wild animals! It's just unbelievable," said Madeline Bricker of Fort Myers.
