COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Collier County deputes rescued three people who were stranded in the Everglades earlier this week.
The sheriff's office said an all-terrain vehicle got stuck in the swamp of the Big Cypress National Preserve on Monday, and a CCSO helicopter found the riders using infrared technology
One by one, deputies were able to airlift the group out and bring them to a nearby rest area.
Deputies said the victims were cold and tired, but safe.
