ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- A vehicle was stolen from the driveway of a home belonging to Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs.

Investigators said Monday that two thieves stole the SUV valued at $30,000 after finding it unlocked.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that the car is used by Jacobs' husband and is owned by the public relations firm where he works.

Jacobs is the mayor of the county that is home to Orlando.

She said in a statement that no one is immune to crime.
