MIAMI-- The Ultra Music Festival 2019 started in Miami Friday.
The music festival runs through Sunday, March 31.
The event is being held on Virginia Key, combining two properties: The Miami Marine Stadium Flex Park and the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.
There is only one way to get on and off the island by car, and that's using the Rickenbacker Causeway. However, organizers say there is no parking on Virginia Key, so they're offering a complimentary shuttle service from three separate transportation hubs throughout Miami.
Festival-goers must have a valid ticket in order to get on the shuttles.
Music fans can opt to use ridesharing apps like Uber and Lyft, but must know that while ridesharing drivers will drop off passengers at the festival, they will not pick them up afterwards.
Ultra says that it will have more than 230 buses on hand at the end of the event, shuttling festival-goers to the three shuttle hubs.
Ultra is also offering water taxis as an alternate method of transportation.
