MIAMI (AP) — A commuter Tri-Rail train in South Florida struck and killed a man Sunday afternoon.

Tri-Rail spokeswoman Bonnie Arnold tells news outlets that the "trespasser" was fatally struck by a southbound train in northeast Miami-Dade. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his name.

There were more than 100 passengers on board the train at the time of the crash. Arnold says none of the passengers reported any injuries.

A bus shuttled riders between the Golden Glades Interchange and Hollywood stations following the crash.

Miami-Dade police are investigating.
