A toddler and a man were killed in a fiery Thanksgiving Day crash in northwest Miami-Dade, officials said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said two cars collided and caught fire in the 2900 block of Northwest North River Drive Thursday afternoon around 3:30.
The man and a child were killed while a woman was taken as a trauma alert to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, officials said. A fourth victim refused treatment.
Cell phone footage from a witness showed flames and heavy smoke coming from the cars. The witness said it sounded like a bomb had exploded.
