A woman who tried to steal $11 worth of candy bars ended up trashing a convenience store in Jacksonville, according to the sheriff's office.

When clerks confronted her she refused to return the merchandise so they locked the door, the sheriff's office said.

At that point, surveillance videos show her knocking candy, chips and other merchandise off of store shelves.

The episode went on for several minutes.

At one point a clerk appears to try and stop her but she ignored him.

Eventually the clerk unlocked the front door and she left.

The incident happened at a Shell station at 715 N. Main Street in Jacksonville.

The sheriff's office posted the video to its Facebook page and is looking for tips.

Anyone who recognizes her is encouraged to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
