A substitute teacher at a Deerfield Beach elementary school was arrested for allegedly indecently touching a 7-year-old student, and authorities believe there may be more victims.

Juan Emmanuel Manns, 24, was arrested Thursday on one count of lewd and lascivious conduct, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

Authorities said the student was in the aftercare program at Quiet Waters Elementary on W. Hillsboro Boulevard when Manns approached him and told him to sit on his lap. The child said while he was on Manns' lap, he felt something poking his buttocks, authorities said.

Manns lives in the 1000 block of N. Dixie Highway in Boca Raton, according to BSO.

Manns has been a substitute teacher at the school for a year and also worked in the aftercare program, officials said. He was being held on $100,000 bond Friday, jail records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
