A South Florida man is finally home three months after a lightning strike.

Nick Williams was hospitalized ever since he was hit while sitting in his wheelchair in Pompano Beach. He had a heart attack on the way to the hospital.

In 2008, he was in a car crash that paralyzed him from the chest down.

Williams says he left the hospital with a new mindset. "If you’re alive you’re OK kind of deal so a car accident, getting struck by lightning now, as long as I’m alive, I can deal with whatever is coming my way."

Doctors who treated him say they never thought he would recover.

They consider his progress a miracle.
