SARASOTA, Fla.-- There were some scary moments in a powerboat race in Sarasota Sunday.
Two boats in the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix race, the "Miss GEICO" and "Victory," flipped during the last race.
According to the race's spokeswoman, both boats flipped on the same corner in the last lap of the final race.
The drivers and throttlemen from both boats are expected to be okay.
Crews spent most of Sunday recovering the boats.
The Sarasota Grand Prix was the third stop in a six race series for the newly-formed American Power Boat Association Offshore Championship Series.
