HIALEAH, Fla. — (WTVJ/NBC) - Cleanup is underway in Miami-Dade County after a tornado touched down Sunday evening in Hialeah.
Heavy showers and high winds rolled through the area Sunday evening, toppling over a truck and downing trees.

Crews from the city of Hialeah were out Sunday night assessing the situation and clearing roads.
Police were also seen blocking roads that were considered unsafe.
Officials say no injuries have been reported.
Experts from the National Weather Service determined Monday the damage was caused by an EF-0 tornado.
It said the twister had winds approaching 85 mph.
